The most important thing with these four strokes is have them under a load at all times for the first couple hours. I don't know if the 150 4S has oil temp on the smartcraft, but you have to get those oil temps over 200* to really get the motor broken in right. On four strokes oil temp is as important as water temp. 'IF' i have to stop and fill up on the ICW during my initial break-in is that going to cause any harm while i idle into the marina's and get fuel? I do not have a spot on the ICW where i can do 35mph+ for more than 20 minutes before i am going to hit a no wake zone.
